MY INTENTIONS FOR THIS WORKSHOP ...
Why we have to go beyond mindset work and invite in the body and nervous system to create a path for connection and healing.
We’ll be exploring the root of shame, how it manifests and what approach to take so that we can heal from it.
Somatic explorations and embodiment practices that connect us to the natural and innate capacities of the body for healing
You will leave knowing exactly what you need to do next to end body shame and live with that quiet confidence that you and everyone around you feels - damn that is sexy !

That there is no quick fix for ending the hurtful relationship with food and your body and that working slowly and somatically, IS THE FAST WAY.
For years I was living in a state of nervous system dysregulation and carrying the effects of unresolved trauma which led to eating disorders, people pleasing, low self esteem, body shame and an inability to cope with intensity and discomfort. I very often felt trapped, overwhelmed, ashamed, frozen and withdrawn.
And, I thought it was all my fault. I thought it was something I was doing wrong, I thought that I was weird, broken and that I had a problem that I just couldn’t find the answer to.
It was only when I started to work in a trauma-informed approach, with the body and nervous system taking lead, that I understood (and also felt in every cell) that there was absolutely nothing wrong with me. That I was in fact working perfectly given the circumstances I’d experienced. This changed everything for me and I started to live with so much more trust, compassion, confidence and freedom - it felt like I was given a new life.
And I know that it’s the same for you and I want to support you in discovering that.

I’m sure, just as I did, you’ve tried a lot of things to try and change how you feel. Meditation, new diets, new morning routines, daily affirmations, talking therapy and yoga etc.
And while I’m sure they have provided you with some relief and moments of stillness, those patterns still manage to make an appearance in your life.

Hey, I’m Alex …
I support passionate women to recognise their wholeness, transform trauma and return to body connection so that they can stop feeling ashamed of themselves and live with confidence, love and acceptance for themselves.
From the age of around 14 - 26 I lived with Binge Eating Disorder and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I know what it’s like to live with deep shame of your body, to feel stuck in a hurtful relationship with food and unable to find a way out - no matter how hard you try.
It was only when I found Somatic Therapy & came into a very intimate relationship with my body, that I began to heal. I was liberated from the self-criticism and judgment and began to live with an unbelievable amount of self-love and confidence. I say unbelievable - because for so long I never believed it could EVER be possible.
And now I spend my spare time in naked saunas, at conscious sex parties and making love to myself in my mirror because I’m just so damn in love with and inspired by the woman that I am.
I’m really looking forward to connecting with you & walking with you into a life filled with more connection & freedom darling one.
